Born in Padua, July 17, 1946. Living in Padua.
 

Educational titles

Graduate in Political Sciences at Padua University (1970).

Participation to seminars of International Centre of European Education ("Professional Education in Europe", Marly Le Roi, 23-28 nov. 1981; "European Community and East - West relations", Berlin 14-19 june 1982).

Participation to 7 seminars of IBM Informatics Institute for Public Sector (Rome, 1986 - 1989): Computer education, Office automation, Computer based applications in Public sector, Information system design, Managerial education, Education for educators, Decision support systems.

Work experiences

Responsible of Industry Department at Chamber of Commerce of Padua (1973-1979). In the regional venetian federation of CGIL (the main italian trade union) as responsible of Innovation Department, has organised many initiatives for delegates, focused on computer based work issues: seminars, training courses, conferences, also with foreign organisations (e.g.: Europaïsche Akademie Berlin, European Trade Union Confederation).

In the National Centre of CGIL, in Rome, he has been responsible at national level for all activities concerned with research and innovation policy (1986-1995). He has conceived and organised seminars (abroad too) for unionists on the following issues: - socio-economic impact of computerisation in public administration; - science parks and economic development; - research and innovation networks.

Responsible of "Information and organisation system development Service" at Chamber of Commerce, in Padua (1996).

Actually, he is full-time involved in E.U.'s Commission projects:
